RECRUITMENT

                                          "Fitness 4 Work" Act On the Interest of Both the Employee and the Employer :


Employee:
  • To break the stigma associated with appointment of people with disability in formal employment
  • To ensure that the people with disabilities are properly placed in formal employment to ensure successful reintegration into their role.

  • Employer:
    Assist the employer to comply with the South African legislature i.e. Employment Equity Act and therefore meet the BEE ratings

    Case Management



    Case management is a process of reintegrating an employee back at work after a period of long absence. The Occupational Therapist can also do case management to coordinate an employee's rehabilitation with another service provider in view of rehabilitating an employee to return to work. A therapist compiles a reintegration programme which needs to be followed by employee and employer to ensure successful reintegration back into workplace. "Reintegration back to work" is often conducted when an employee has been away from work for a significant period of time i.e. more than 3 months.
